I am a designer—and I love what I do, but I'm sure you've heard that before. Aesthetically, I'm a minimalist—I prefer left-justified type (but can adjust my style to suit the design). I get annoyed by double spaces, unnecessary use of hyphenation, design without the end audience in mind, and overly used color-changing gradients. I believe that everything should have a purpose, which means I'm not afraid to break a few "graphic design rules" if it's what's best for the design. Show me a beautifully hand-drawn ligature and you have my heart. I look for inspiration everywhere but lately am especially inspired by rustic industrial art.

On a more personal note, I'm somewhat of a newbie to New York City, but it's not my first city life experience. Before New York City, I lived in Los Angeles, spent an awkward five months in Philadelphia, hung around Providence, Rhode Island, for a short bit, spent most of my childhood in upstate New York, and originated from Boston. I guess it's no surprise that I love to travel, but they say this is the greatest city in the world, so here I am! I've been to 36 states, and have driven cross-country three times. I plan on checking off all the states and, hopefully, some amazing places in the Eastern Hemisphere as well. I have the most loving dog in the world. He's a miniature pinscher named Carter Winafred (Winny for short), and he loves to give people hugs.

I could have gone on and on about the handful of fonts I hate, talked about where I went to school, or explained my process with a creative brief in case of any "inquires.” However, I'm just one person, and after all, you did click "About Me," didn't you? So if you want to know more about me, want to see more of my work, or just want to chat, feel free to send me a message through my contact page! Don't worry—I normally don't talk about myself this much.

Feel free to follow me on behance or Dribbble to see more of my sketches and some of my paintings!
